11月15日，省委書記沈曉明在?？跁?huì)見了大眾汽車集團(tuán)董事、大眾汽車（中國(guó)）董事長(zhǎng)兼CEO貝瑞德。
Shen welcomes Ralf Brandst?tter and the Volkswagen Group China delegation, retraces the history of reform and opening up in China and the unique role Hainan Free Trade Port plays during this process in the new era, and shares details of the distinctive competitiveness of Hainan in developing the new energy vehicle industry. He stresses that reform and opening up has all along been the master key for China in addressing all difficulties and challenges in the past 4 decades. Hainan, as urged by the central government, is striving to become a demonstration of China’s reform and opening up in the new era, and the doors of Hainan Free Trade Port would be opened earlier, wider, and faster. He hopes the Volkswagen Group could seize the new opportunities as China deepens reform and opening up and continue to make new achievements in China. Hainan stands ready to deliver the best service for Volkswagen’s development.
沈曉明對(duì)貝瑞德一行的到來(lái)表示歡迎，并簡(jiǎn)要回顧了中國(guó)40多年的改革開放史以及海南自由貿(mào)易港在新時(shí)代中國(guó)改革開放歷史進(jìn)程中的特殊地位，詳細(xì)介紹了海南發(fā)展新能源汽車的獨(dú)特優(yōu)勢(shì)。他說(shuō)，在40多年的歷程中，改革開放始終是我們解決困難挑戰(zhàn)的萬(wàn)能鑰匙，當(dāng)前，海南正按照中央要求，努力成為新時(shí)代中國(guó)改革開放的示范，海南自由貿(mào)易港對(duì)外開放的大門將會(huì)開得更早、更大、更快。希望大眾汽車集團(tuán)抓住中國(guó)全面深化改革開放的新機(jī)遇，用好海南自由貿(mào)易港政策優(yōu)勢(shì)，在中國(guó)續(xù)寫集團(tuán)發(fā)展新輝煌；海南方面也將竭誠(chéng)做好服務(wù)。
Brandst?tter points out that the Chinese market is full of vitality and China is regarded as the second hometown for Volkswagen. The Hainan Free Trade Port, put forth by China as a key strategic approach to further open itself, has unique geographic advantages with the Chinese mainland at the back and the South East Asian countries at the door as well as policy advantages, all of which contribute to an excellent environment for businesses and talents to develop and thrive here. The ecological environment and low-carbon growth path has left a deep impression on Volkswagen. The Group shall follow up the progress of Hainan Free Trade Port and continue to identify new opportunities for cooperation with Hainan.
